To All Candidates
GENERAL TEST CENTER RULES
By entering The Test Center, you have agreed to the rules on the Test Center and will abide by the instructions of the Test Center Administrator.
1. You are expected to arrive at the Test Center at least 30 minutes before your scheduled exam time with all the documents required. You will be seated to take the exam at any time before or after your scheduled time for operational reasons. However , if circumstances arise for reasons other than candidate error that delay your session more than 30 minutes you will be given the choice of continuing to wait or rescheduling your appointment.
2. All electronically operated items, such as cellular phone, camera music player etc., are to be switched off and deposited into the locker provided. Similary, other personal items are deposited into the locker. These items include, but are not limited to watch wallet pen/pencil, currency, handkerchief, tissue paper, etc.
If you so desire, you may deposit your items for safekeeping in a place outside the Test Center.
The Test Center will not be responsible for lost or damaged items brought to the Test Center.
3. You are expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner while within the confines of the Test Center and will refrain from committing any act that will offend or disturb other candidates or the operation of the Test Center
4. No food or beverage will be allowed at the Test Center.
5. The entire building is a non –smoking area, particulary the restrooms.
6. Non-candidates are not allowed into the Test Center.
Failure to comply may and can result in your being denied admission to take the exam and forfeiture of exam fee(s). Furthermore, your conduct will be reported to the respective board.
CPA Candidates
TEST CENTER POLICY
The staff at each Test Center has been trained in the procedures specific to the Uniform CPA Examination. Center personnel will guide you through the steps that have been developed by the boards of accountancy, NASBA and AICPA
1. You are expected to arrive at the Test Center at least 30 minutes before your scheduled exam time with all the documents required. You will be seated to take the exam at any time before or after your scheduled time for operational reasons. However , if circumstances arise for reasons other than candidate error that delay your session more than 30 minutes, you will be given the choice of continuing to wait or rescheduling your appointment.
2. You must place personal belonging, such as purse or cell phone in the storage lockers provided by the Test Center. You will be given the key to your locker which must be returned to the Test Center staff when you leave. The lockers are very small and are not intended to hold large items. Do not bring anything to the Test Center unless it is absolutely necessary.
The Test Center will not be responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items
3. You are required to present your identificantion. You must keep your identificantion with you at all times. If you leave the testing room for any reason, you will be required to show your identificantion to be remitted.
4. You will have a digital photograph taken of your face. (If the digital camera equipment is not working, a Polaroid picture will be taken)
5. You will be required to sign the Test Center log box. Each time you exit and re-enter the testing center room, you will be required to sign the log book and present your identificantion.
6. You will be escorted to workstation by a Test Center staff. You must remain in your seat during the examination, except when authorized to get up and leave the test room.
7. Scratch paper and pencils will be provided to you. You will be directed to enter your examination password on your scratch paper. You are required to return the scratch paper to the test center staff when your examination is complete. If you need additional scratch paper, you may request it from the Test Center staff, but you must first turn in the original sheets of paper you received in order to get a new supply. You must not bring any other paper or pencils to the workstation in the testing room
8. Notify the Test Center staff immediately if:
A. You experience a problem with your computer
B. An error message appears on the computer screen (do not clear the message)
C. You need additional scratch paper or pencils.
D. You need the Test Center staff for any other reasons
♦ During the examination, be sure to follow all the research problem directions.(If you are having difficulty entering a response in the space provided, you may not be using the expected response format.)
♦ Report any issues to the Test Center Administrator(TCA) If possible, wait until the end of the session
♦ If you encounter a problem in a simulation be sure to identify the TAB in which it occurred
♦ Don’t be distracted by any issue as long as you are able to continue testing
9. When you finish the examnation, leave the testing room quickly , turn in your scratch paper and sign the Test center log box. The Test Center staff will dismiss you after completing all necessary procedures.
10. Keep the Confirmation of Attendance form you receive after the examination. This not only verifies you took the examination, but contains contact information about reporting any concerns, complaints about the examination.
